The surface-mounted video home station 7 is equipped with a 7” display that makes it easy to see who's at the door. With just a few taps, you can silence the door bell, switch on the light in the hallway, or talk directly to visitors. Thanks to IPS display technology, you benefit from wide-angle images that cover your whole outdoor area. Even a person standing on the side of the entrance will be clearly visible.

The Gira surface-mounted home station video 7 can be attached to the wall or placed on a desk (and similar surfaces) with an optional base-foot accessory – allowing you to see who‘s at the door from any floor. As soon as the doorbell rings, the display automatically switches on. You can then communicate with your visitor via the integrated intercom unit: simply tap the “Answer door” button to activate the microphone. You can also open the door by pressing the “Open door” button. Whenever you are not home, the camera footage is stored in the system’s internal memory, which can hold up to 200 recordings. Thus, you will always know who has paid you a visit.

Maybe you want to welcome guests in the living room and call everyone down? No problem! Instead of shouting up the stairs, just place an internal call from the ground floor to the free-standing surface-mounted video home station 7 on the first floor. You can even add your own ringtones with a MicroSD card.

The Gira external camera is specifically designed for outdoor use: as a water and dust-resistant unit, it includes automatic heating to prevent the lens from misting up. Moreover, the camera is well-equipped for low-light conditions; in the dark, it uses infrared LEDs to generate clear images. With the Gira surface-mounted video home station 7, you can connect multiple external cameras to keep an all-round watch on your home – from the front door to the patio and driveway.
