Depending on the variant, Gira room temperature controllers offer a range of features to control your heating system intuitively and efficiently. This includes:
Timeless and flexible design: the top units are compatible with numerous Gira design lines from the Gira System 55. This allows you to customise your installation according to your personal style.
Heating and cooling in one device: integrated sensors register deviations from the setpoint temperature and subsequently activate the heating or cooling system. Depending on the current mode, the LED lights will shine either red (heating) or blue (cooling).
Anti-freeze function: to protect your floor (and piping laid below) from freezing, the anti-freeze mode prevents the indoor temperature from falling below 5 degrees Celsius
Temperature drop detection: as soon as the controller registers a sudden drop of temperature (due to an open window, for example), the setpoint temperature is changed to “anti-freeze temperature”.
Easy temperature control: thanks to pulse-width modulation, you can precisely adjust the desired temperature and thus make your heating even more efficient.
Saving energy through nightly setbacks: to stop that your living spaces are being heated unnecessarily, the room temperature controller can be switched to night setback mode together with an external timer.
Intuitive operation: an especially flat rotary knob ensures that you won’t change the settings accidentally.
Valve protection: the room temperature controllers‘ valves are opened automatically once a week to keep them mobile for times when they are not in use (during the summer, for example).
