Gira System 3000 lighting control

Thanks to the Gira System 3000, you can determine whether your lights are controlled manually via switch, via an app or with a motion detector. A particularly elegant highlight of this system is that if you choose a push button top unit, it can easily be replaced with another top unit from System 3000 at any time. This turns an ordinary manual switch into an easy-to-use display device with which you can set automatic lighting times for your lamps. However, that’s not all. Each operating attachment comes with a variety of Gira designs, so you can match it with your interior tastes.

Perhaps you like the comfort you’re accustomed to and just want a simple light switch. With Gira System 3000, you can choose between operating attachments with arrow symbols and those without. They allow you to intuitively adjust the brightness of your lights. Even the manual switch, in combination with a dimmer, lets you determine the level of brightness or dimness. Using the Gira System 3000 extension unit, you can also control each individual light or all of them at once, simultaneously.

The motion detectors in the Gira System 3000 offer contactless and convenient light control and provide more safety and orientation at night. You can choose between two installation heights (1.10 m and 2.20 m) and versions with or without Bluetooth. With the new System 3000 motion detector top unit 1.10 m Standard with delay time, the delay time can be individually set from 10 seconds to 30 minutes – without Bluetooth or an app. If the motion detector does not register any further movement after the set time has elapsed, the light is automatically switched off and does not stay on any longer than necessary.

The Gira System 3000 Memory operating attachment allows you to determine when the lights come on, even when you’re not home. The same can be done using the display interface. By tapping your finger on the wall control unit button, you can easily set a fixed lighting schedule for each light in your home. This is great for simulating your presence when you’re away, deterring any potential burglars.

The Gira System 3000 time switch display also lets you simulate your presence, easily and intuitively. You can set individual “lights on” schedules for each individual room. You can also adapt them to set the timer on for varying times depending on the day of the week, or even for the weekend. An integrated astro function lets you adjust the lights in accordance with sunrise and sunset. The touch-sensitive keys and illuminated display make it easy to program and set the times.
