The plastic components of this design line are primarily^₃ made from Gira recycled material, reducing the carbon footprint by around 54% compared to new material^₄. A wide range of functions from the Gira System 55 are also available in light grey upon request. The painted versions of Gira E2 in colour aluminium and grey matt also contain recycled material components.

To meet our technical quality standards, we produce the recycled material using a particularly gentle reprocessing method. As we manufacture at regular intervals and use various scrap materials, there may be differences in the colouring of individual items between batches. We have deliberately embraced this authenticity, also as part of our pricing strategy.
