Gira System 3000

On. Off. Bright. Dark. Warm. Cold. Gira System 3000 enables you to adjust your lights, blinds, and room temperature to accommodate your daily routines. Manually via switch, automatically based on pre-set schedules, or remotely via app.

Controlling light and blinds is now as easy as operating your smartphone. The Gira System 3000 touch top unit consists of a conventional on/off touch button along with an intuitive surface. Its sleek, simplistic design will complement any interior design. You can switch on your lights with a brief touch and change the brightness with a single finger swipe, up or down. This also works for your blinds: just swipe up or down to reposition them. The memory function enables you to save preferred settings and reactivate them as needed.

The programmed time schedules can be activated and deactivated separately. This allows you to store additional switching points for times when you’re not at home. The integrated LEDs will show you the current status of your lights and blinds.

Thanks to the Gira System 3000 app, you can monitor your lighting, blinds, and heating via smartphone or tablet. In other words: check and adjust your settings from anywhere at your house – on the couch, in the kitchen, or from your bed before going to sleep. 

You’d like to test new settings first before installing them? No problem: just use the demo mode to add different devices or try out functions. The stored devices will be available again after you re-start the demo.

You can now benefit from even more smart features: turning the locking function and the night mode of your LEDs on and off via app, for example. The locking function prevents mishaps such as the blinds on your terrace door going down automatically while you’re outside in the garden.

Through a wired extension or the wireless wall transmitter Bluetooth, it is possible to switch on an additional blinking light in cases of emergency. This will alert other people in the household that help is needed in another room. The call and signal function can be activated manually via switch or remotely via app.

The wireless wall transmitter Bluetooth used to serve as a control unit for Bluetooth-compatible lights. Following the software update, you can now use it as a wireless extension for the new signal function. Another practical feature: control up to eight Bluetooth top units in reach at the same time. This group control function also works without a mobile device. To keep a better overview, just assign a different name to each group.

Integrated motion and presence detectors will guide you along at night, e. g. in stairwells or corridors. They either react to ambient movements or switch on lights based on pre-programmed schedules. Via app, you can set certain time frames or activate a presence simulation – which will keep intruders away while you’re out and about. Let’s say you’re working at the office Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. For these times, you can activate an automated presence simulation. For temporary absences, e.g. a longer holiday, you can set automated time schedules, too.

Thanks to an integrated Astro function, time schedules can also be adjusted to the natural course of the sun. For example, your living room lights could turn on as soon as the sun has set in the evening.

Thanks to Gira System 3000, you can control your blinds manually with a single touch. You may also set customised automated schedules for the times when you want to raise or lower your blinds. If you‘d like to be woken up by the sun every day, the astro function will help you out. This function raises your blinds automatically at sunrise and then lowers them again at sunset. Gira System 3000 makes it possible to control several blinds simultaneously with one single switch – even across different floors.

In addition, you can now define or change the parameters “at the earlierst / at the latest“ and “sunrise / sunset“ yourself.

Within the Gira System 3000, operating several blinds via one switch is equally feasible.

Setting automated time schedules, you can now choose values at one percent intervals (rather than ten percent) and precisely define your blinds‘ position. The same goes for the dimming function.

Entering your home and being greeted with the perfect indoor climate? No problem, thanks to the Gira System 3000 room temperature controller. Plus, you can reduce your energy consumption by setting schedules to start and stop the heating at certain times. This not only makes everyday life more comfortable, but also more cost-efficient. The integrated temperature sensor can even be linked to your blinds so that they shade your house when outdoor temperatures are rising.
